Featured Events

Want to make your voice heard? Environment New Jersey, together with our allies, will be hosting events in support of RGGI across the state. Check back often for updates! We'll show local legislators that citizens care about cutting pollution and promoting clean energy, and we'll be calling on our representatives to stand in support of RGGI.

What’s New

clean-air-rally

Citizens all over New Jersey are learning about the Governor's move to take New Jersey out of the RGGI program, and raising their voices to let the Governor know he's wrong on this one. The program is helping us clean up our air, fight global warming, and build a healthier future hooked to clean energy. The Governor has decided to leave the program without taking any public comment, and is ignoring the state law which established the program.

Environment New Jersey and our partners are poised to deliver a record number of public comments against the Governor's move. We're asking mom's, scientists, students, faith leaders, health professionals, clean energy businesses and workers, teachers and anyone who cares about clean air and a better future to add their voices to others opposing the Governor's plan. We are holding rallies, volunteer days and lobby days at the State House throughout the spring and summer. And we need lots of active grassroots involvement to strengthen our legislators' resolve to block the Governor's regressive plan to end RGGI in NJ.
